No matter if you’re interested in discovering new content creators or are just curious about which YouTuber has the most subscribers, we’re here to break it down.

1. T-Series: 121 million subscribers

Coming in hot as the most subscribed YouTube channel is T-Series, India’s largest music label and movie studio. Their official slogan is: “Music can change the world,” and they have the belief that they’re bringing the world closer together through music.
By doing so, they put a swift end to the 1,920-day streak that PewDiePie held as the most followed YouTube channel. T-Series posts content on their channel ranging from music videos, films, clips, and even trailers for upcoming content.
The steady growth of the T-Series channel is due in part to India’s emerging online population, which consists of 500 million internet users. It can also be attributed to their growing audience outside of India, as 40% of their traffic comes from other countries - 12% in the US alone.
Their most-watched video, the Punjabi song High Rated Gabru by Guru Randhawa, tops the charts with over 850 million views.
The numbers: Joined YouTube on March 13, 2006. First video uploaded in late 2010. Currently at 91,511,667,484 views. 14,157 videos uploaded.

2. PewDiePie: 102 million subscribers

Sitting pretty at number two is PewDiePie. The channel is run by Swedish comedian Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg and is best known for the “Let’s Play” gaming videos and blogs. During his early YouTube career, his commentaries of horror games were his best-known content before expanding to other video genres, such as vlogs and comedy shorts. His content is certainly not for the faint of heart as it’s often filled with profanity.
His goofy and sometimes obnoxious content certainly makes headlines. PewDiePie is the first individual contributor on YouTube to cross 100 million subscribers. He’s also encountered his fair share of controversy, including a video in January 2017 that “appeared to show” him using a racial slur, followed closely by the #PewdiepieIsOverParty hashtag that trended on Twitter. He also has one of the most disliked videos on YouTube.
The most viewed video PewDiePie has uploaded is titled bitch lasagna, which was originally named “TSERIES DISS TRACK” and has a total of 229 million views. Not surprisingly, it’s a response to their YouTube channel surpassing his. Salty, much?

The numbers: Joined YouTube April 29, 2010. Currently at 24,158,724,090 views. 4,034 videos uploaded.

As the only children’s account in the top 10 list, Cocomelon provides an easy way for parents to keep their children entertained. It was originally titled ABCkidTV and boasts an average of 3 million new subscribers each month.
Its most viewed video, titled Bath Song, has 2.1 billion views and teaches children the importance of bath time. Interestingly enough, the video is also one of the most disliked videos on the platform with 2.6 million “thumbs down” reactions from viewers.
